The Probus Club

of Brantford

Looking for fun, camaradarie and inspiring speakers?

The goal of the Probus Club of Brantford is to provide fellowship, friendship and enjoyment for people in their retirement and semi-retirement years. We thrive through the engagement and participation of our members. You’ll find a wealth of new experiences and a much-expanded network of friends. We have interesting guest speakers, group activities and social events, stimulating conversation and the chance to explore our community.
The organization is non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit making and non-fundraising. Speakers and operating costs are covered by our annual membership dues. Additional fees may be charged for special events and group activities.
Learn About Our Members

Monthly “Who Am I?” presentations give you insight into the lives of our members.

Each month, one of our members gives a 15 minute presentation on their life, work and family.

This part of our agenda is very popular.

Keynote Speakers

Dynamic speakers provoke interest and discussion on a wide range of topics. Presentations are also videoed for future viewing. (if authorized by the speaker)

Our featured speakers come from all walks of life, some local and some from other Canadian cities and towns.

Stimulating Conversation

Opportunities to touch base with old and new friends over coffee.

Our meetings begin at 10 o’clock in the morning but many members arrive early or stay after the meeting is over to continue speaking with each other.

Interesting Events

Regular and one-off events and trips provide members with opportunities for education and fellowship.

From bus and car trips to picnics and tours, we offer lots of opportunities to learn about our community.

Events are listed on our calendar or emailed to members.
